Psychiatric Services
Comprehensive, whole-person psychiatric care delivered via telehealth—designed around you.
Every person who walks through my door, even virtually, brings a unique story, a unique neurobiology, and a unique set of needs. My approach to psychiatric care is integrative by design: grounding evidence-based clinical practice in a genuine understanding of the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
I believe you always have a say in your treatment. Your goals, your concerns, and your values are woven into every decision we make together. Collaboration isn't just something I believe in; it's how I practice.
Services are available via secure audio-video telehealth to clients in Oregon.

A thorough, unhurried evaluation is the foundation of good psychiatric care. In our first session, I take the time to understand your full history—not just your current symptoms, but your story. Together we’ll explore what’s brought you here, identify diagnostic impressions, and begin mapping a treatment direction that makes sense for you. This evaluation forms the basis for all care that follows.

Medication, when appropriate, is one tool among many, not the whole answer. My approach is integrative: I consider the full picture of your health, lifestyle, biology and goals before recommending anything. Once we begin, I stay actively involved monitoring your response, adjusting as needed, and always making decisions together. You’ll never leave an appointment with a prescription and a door closing behind you.
Follow-up appointments 30 min; depending on the complexity of your medication regimen and other factors a longer appointment may be scheduled.
*In keeping with strict DEA requirements, a minimum 15-minute monthly medication management session is required for all controlled medication refills—even when stable. Controlled medications will only be prescribed during a scheduled medication management appointment. No exceptions.
**Stimulant therapy, when appropriate, also requires the client to secure a home blood pressure monitoring device that allows for digital blood pressure and heart rate reading. Blood pressure, heart rate and weight must be recorded before stimulant refills can be sent in.

Medication alone rarely tells the whole story. Within our session, I incorporate evidence-based, therapeutic approaches including psychoeducation, the integration of nutraceuticals, the use of mindfulness techniques, vagus nerve stimulation exercises, cognitive reframing, brief supportive counseling for life transitions, adjustment issues and situational stress. These interventions address not just symptoms, but patterns of thinking, feeling and relating that may be getting in the way of your healing.
This is psychiatric care that goes deeper than a prescription.

ADHD is frequently missed, misdiagnosed, or dismissed—especially in adults and especially in women. My comprehensive ADHD evaluations go beyond a symptoms checklist. Using a detailed clinical interview, history-gathering and clinically validated rating scales alongside an objective broad spectrum computerized neurocognitive test through CNS Vital Signs, I build a complete picture of how your brain works and what kind of support will actually help.
Whether you’ve always wondered or have been told it’s ’just anxiety’, you deserve a real answer.
ADHD Comprehensive Evaluation is conducted over 3 sessions.
Session 1: Detailed clinical interview, history-gathering, administering and reviewing validated rating scales. 60 min.
Session 2: CNS Vital Signs Objective Broad Spectrum Computerized Neurocognitive testing and additional screenings administered remotely. 45 min.
Session 3: Review of testing and discussion of medication options if appropriate, as well as, other non-stimulant and non-pharmacologic treatment options. 30-45 min

Finding the right psychiatric medication shouldn’t feel like guesswork. Genomind pharmacogenomic testing analyzes your unique genetic profile to identify how your body is likely to process specific medications—helping us make smarter, more personalized prescribing decisions from the start.
For clients who have tried multiple medications without success, or who have experienced unexpected side effects, this testing can be a meaningful turning point.

Psychiatric symptoms don’t always originate in the mind. Thyroid imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, metabolic changes, and other physical factors can profoundly affect mood, cognition, and energy. As part of a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, I order and interpret relevant diagnostic laboratory work through Quest Diagnostics so we’re not treating symptoms while missing an underlying cause.
Good psychiatric care looks at the whole body. Just because something looks like depression, smells like depression doesn’t necessarily mean it is “just depression”.
Quest Diagnostics; results forwarded to client via HIPPA compliant portal. Client will be notified immediately of any panic values.
*Manuel lab slips can be issued if your insurance requires or personal preference is for a different lab.
